Hideki Wada, President
Mr. Wada, the principal consultant of “Vietnam Waste Planning" is an expert on solid waste policy with nearly 40 year-experiences in Japan and Asian countries, after he studied system engineering. Based on the experiences, he wrote a book "Waste Planning" (2005), which was prized by a Japanese academic society on solid waste management. He worked as the team leader of a JICA's capacity development project for the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam from 2014 to 2018, which triggered him to work in Vietnam. Now, he is working for Vietnam to contribute to improving solid waste management of Vietnam.
Nguyen Huong Giang
Ms Giang has experienced in SWM field more than 10-year through ODA project, etc. She deeply understands not only current status of SWM in Vietnam but also experiences of SWM in Japan through working with Japanese experts. In the Vietnam Waste Project founded by JICA, she was involved in developing "Guiding reference for Construction Investment and Operation Management of Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Facilities".
Norihisa Hirata
Mr Hirata has been a consultant on SWM for more than 20 years; 10 years for Japanese projects and 10 years for overseas projects, including Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Malaysia. In Vietnam he was involved in the 3R project in Hanoi (2006-2009), and the Project for Environmental Protection in Halong Bay (2010-2013) in addition to Vietnam Waste Project (2014-2018).
Le Minh Ngoc
Ms Ngoc has experienced in the SWM field for more than 10 years through various project including ODA projects. She deeply understands not only current status of SWM in Vietnam but also experiences of SWM of Japan through working with Japanese experts. In the Vietnam Waste Project founded by JICA, she was involved in developing a guiding reference for "Formulation of Integrated Solid Waste Management Master Plan Focusing on Domestic Solid Waste".
